    If you want easy, go with a 2" lift and cross your fingers you won't have to clearance the firewall. 3" has serious manifold to firewall interference, which sounds "more painful". Good luck!

    I have seen a really nice installation of the E350 disk brakes on a sterling truck axle. I’ll see if I can find the details, I believe there was a little welding involved to mount the piece that the caliper bracket bolts to, and it cones off of the van axle, but don’t quote me as it’s been a while.

    I definitely knew it was back there on the 6% grade part of the drive, but it did really well on the flatter parts. I bitch about 4.10s because they turn all the RPMs unloaded, but they definitely earn their keep with some payload in tow.

    OBS Overheat!!!!

    Head gasket would be my guess. To much coolant to lose on an oil cooler, and you would see some milkshake in your oil or an external leak. Do a leak down test and/or pressurize your cooling system and see where the pressure goes, but I’d get ready to pull the heads.
