    Mines unplugged. My truck is a hunting truck though and I don't want the extra noise. Now a headlights are on warning chime, that would be swell. PO of my truck purposely removed the ducting for the air cleaner. I asked him why he said to get more air! I replied uh, more HOT air?

    Batteries were both purchased last year and have 12.6ish volts. Hmm didn't think to check the alternator as the batteries we both at full charge but I guess I could.

    New starter installed finally. It's amazing the difference, had forgotten what a new one sounds like. Guess I got used to the worn out one. New one spins so fast makes me dizzy.

    I'm pretty sure the OEM hubs have Warn guts. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Rock auto has a service kit, give em a call and see if they have hubs. There's also a few OEM hubs on ebay right now.

    Well a bit more info. My pop says the voltage on the ficm hasn't dropped below 47 volts once. He says the only time the truck dies is when he's towing and the voltage hasn't dropped. Driving unladen the truck is fine. More info to come.
