    Ah ok, I'll try that and see what happens. So is there no way to switch from drawing outside air to recirc/inside air? I don't see anything on the controls that indicates such.

    Got the windows tinted on the truck topper. That was fun, was like working inside a sauna.

    Searched the forums but there's tons of posts with my keywords so gave up. 94 7.3L F250. I'm assuming my issue has something to do with a blend door? When I'm sitting at a stop light almost have to shut off the AC the exhaust smell is so strong inside the cab.

    When I got it the PO had spilled something on it which smelled like chemicals come every summer. So I scuffed the whole dash with a green scotch pad, dusted with compressed air then wiped down with acetone. Couple light coats of Krylon paint/primer and it's much better. It's a hunting truck...

    Cool. I went to UAF for a semester, loved it up there. Man don't take Alaska for granted, never knew how much I loved it till I wasn't there anymore. Like you said I bet that's an old pipeline truck, maybe a slope truck. Good luck!

    Did the previous owner drill and plug it with rtv or did they just slather rtv over it? If it's drilled I'd get all that crap out and then either plug it with a brass square head plug or Jb weld it. I Jb welded mine, hasn't leaked.

    It's a Sony Xav-v10bt. I picked it up off ebay for $150. It's actually a single double, sorta like a single din attached to a double din screen. It doesn't have a disc player so it's even more compact. I like that it has a volume knob, I'm old school that way. The unit wakes up really fast too.

    It's actually a plastic welding kit with screen. Melted the screen into the dash, then covered with light layer of plastic. It's pretty awesome. Yeah the deck has a radio but I never use it, primarily stream Bluetooth. But I mostly got it cause I want to be able to see behind me. Almost...

    Finally got the new dash bezel in, had to rebuild all the screw brackets as they'd busted off. Finally got deck installed, had to rebuild all those brackets too.

    Worked on more double din install(have to repair all the broken/cracked tabs and screw clips in the dash first), installed tailgate lock.
