There's a lot of other info on here talking about the timing adapter, long story short (from what I have read on here) if the set of lines you have are the same length as the original, you still need the timing adapter on #1. Distance from IP is an "engineered" (for lack of a better word) length...
I reached out to him last year for a set. Ended up going with Justin's rails because I didn't hear back from Dreg's. However, about 2 months down the road he finally got back to me. I believe he listed a phone number on the FB page - might be worth calling him.
Hey All
So today was my first day driving my truck with a turbo kit installed. 92 F250, CDD stage 2 kit, R&D factory NA pump turned up 4 flats, R&D injectors. On flat roads unloaded I got up to 9-10 PSI. I’m totally happy with that but was reading about others who mechanically bound the waste...
So I actually bought that socket - just the snap on one for $50-$60 - which hurt the wallet but not as bad as that one. I was still having issues getting the socket onto the nuts and clearing the intake manifold runners - maybe it was just operator error.
Thanks for the input tho
Also, since you just went through this @Nero, how did you get the bottom 4 injector line nuts off the IP? I have the snap on flare nut socket but couldn’t get it to work way down there. Ended up pulling ip with bottom 4 lines attached but I’d like to put it back together with just the pump first.
Didn’t see a thread close to what I was looking for - hope it’s not a duplicate.
I just started a CDD / 093 turbo kit install. Planning to remove the factory sensor, put a tee on it and then put the factory sensor back in the same general location.
Question, is there a hex on the oil pressure...
I have no familiarity with the circuit but it might be that the wire with the lower voltage is getting it from somewhere it shouldn’t - nicked wire or partially melted wire or something - somewhere else on the vehicle. The dim light / low voltage could indicate a partial ground that’s enough to...
It might be help if your willing to spend the money - a website called alldata should have most if not all the wiring diagrams (along with other stuff) for your truck as it came from the factory. It’s like $10-50 or so (last time I looked based on the subscription you choose) to get access for...
Ever find anything out about zeroing the glow shift EGT gauge? Mine starts out at 240F when powered on. To be fair, it doesn't seem to move at all until it gets warmed up though...
you could try reaching out to banks performance - i doubt they will sell you one, but if you can get them to give you a print you could prob get a machine shop to fab one. Depending on how committed you are to this kit, you might be able to find a fabricator who will make you one from scratch...
I haven’t got a set of lines from them but from what I have read they are one of the top 3 or 4 places to buy stuff for our engines from. Everything I have got from them has been good quality.
I had a similar issue along with the parking brake not actually holding the vehicle on any kind of incline - finally found someone local who was able to adjust both the rear brakes and cable to get it to work properly. For my vehicle it was just an adjustment problem that fixed both issues.

The timing thread on this form tells you everything, I got this meter and it works well. The shop I bring my truck to even asks to borrow it from time to time to do work on other vehicles. The company is super helpful too.
I think your right that the port makes a small difference. I had an actual gauge in the factory sender port for a few months, then i decided i wanted both the factory gauge working and my real gauge - moved the real gauge to the port on the top of the water pump and the gauge seems to read about...
So i did some light searching and didn't see a thread that was exactly what I was looking for. I am looking to start a thread with part numbers and currently available options for the V Belt Pulleys for the 7.3.
Currently I am searching for a 7.3 water pump pulley, 3 groove. From other threads...
A hot shot driver is basically a courier service. If you need a part delivered now, instead of shipping it through a major company, you can call a hot shot company and they will dispatch a driver / vehicle to come direct to the point of origin and then drive directly to the destination, usually...
