my guess is you have a pissing injector (stuck open) on that cylinder....
and yes...all the IDI's ive owned tend to eat rotella like a fat kid eats cake...
i stick with delo or delvac
its more of a shackle flip and not a shackle reversal....a shackle reversal is moving a rear shackle to the front or vice versa...
this takes a shackle and points in in the opposite direction thus pushing the one side of the spring way down. you will need to adjust your pinion angle by either...
it wasnt a random truck... a hockey puck lift is only 1 1/2" at best. the general rule is dont go over 3" for a body lift. stacking blocks is not a good idea either...
either way...unless its for a good reason i never recommend a body lift. (typically c6 trucks are a linkage and not a cable...
the only reason to do a body lift is tire clearance... with a body lift you end up having to mess with shifters...brake lines...e-brake cables... potential wiring issues (not always)...
ive seen cabs shift due to body lifts...an not tall ones either. on one occasion i seen a chevy shift...
Jayro....go take a vacation to Knoebels Grove Amusement park in Central,PA.... you will find plenty of hills to put that van to work...plus its one of the great underrated parks in the country.
ive run power service....howes....atf....2cyl oil.... all as additived with #2. i dont run WMO or WVO or BIO....
the best bang for the buck ive seen is plain 2 cyl oil. about half a qt added to a tank. the pump and injectors run quieter and the engine seems to run much smoother then on...
you used to be able to gt a mesh insert that you can tack weld inside an exhaust pipe (used to be used for sidepipes and zoomies) that will knock down that exhaust note. friend of mine used on on the stack on his JD A
yes it does! had to deal with our 04 Tahoe after the exhaust fell off in Talmadge, OH all the way to Ft. Wayne. that drone will damn near drive you nuts on long trips!
i think i would have took the bigger job of using the brick dash and re-working the harness... ive seen both style cabs stripped down and side by side.... thats not a fun nor easy task to swap between the two. thats why i ended up parting out my ext cab project. just too much work to use an OBS...
Return lines are notorious for leaking and for air intrusion .... So are the fittings for fuel into the filter head and from the filter head to the IP. Is it an immediate shut down or is it when its up to operating temp?
it was ment as a joke....but on my truck i have a banks turbo and run 4" straight pipe to a dynomax tail pipe....no muffler and its pretty tame honestly
yes the bigfoot packages had them...some of the mark 3's and come of the centruians i believe. they are known for leaking and rusting out the back of the cab. not sure if the seals are available anymore
