i had a gas tank fall out of my truck once... on a gas truck no less! was fine on my way to work... went to leave work and happened to see one end of the saddle tank laying on the ground.... thank god for ratchet straps LOL. held for the 3 days until i coult get a new gas tank strap and bolt.
Thats the plan...right now I want to get the motor in and broke in...and get the drive train put together and all the bugs worked out so hopefully in spring I can do the body work on the cab and do the nose swap along with a flatbed...and hopefully all before the rally. Though with it in new...
Yes its an unmodified te06 banks turbo. But its still going to be awhile before its on the road again...I still have drivetrain stuff to button up from the 4x4 conversion....as well as interior stuff...
well i havent updated this in awhile....not much worth updating...
been slowly working on putting the 7.3 back together... all new bearings...new rings.. quick hone job...head studs...new bb code injectors...lapped the valves...new valve seals... banks sidewinder turbo...bull moose pump...
Well here is what I found. The banks uppipe shares the same T3 bolt pattern as the WH1C I have so the turbo will physically bolt to the pedestal. I unbolted the upper bracket and was able to swing the pipe out another 1/2" or so. using the original banks sidewinder intake horn I had to move the...
I will have some more to add to this a bit later...I started mocking up a wh1c (basically an hx35) on my banks sidewinder pedestal....its still on the stand so I have some pics. Right now the plan is no intercooler but maybe adding one in the future. I have other plans for this truck that...
i had a truck frame done with it that sat outside in the weather for 2-3 years uncovered and it was still shiny when i cut it up and scrapped the project...i bought it through summit racing
ive had very good luck with SEM rust shield as a chassis paint and under body paint. it passed the same salt spray test as POR-15 but its half the cost and you dont need all the prep like POR-15
nope. they are different
clutch master cylinder is slightly different too. they can be interchanged but it will cause the master cylinder to sit tilted. they still work as long as you dont have to add any fluid.
basically the same spot as the banks sidewinder kit. i was told before you could figure about another 200 deg higher for the inside cylinder temps.
still sounds reasonable...maybe when i get my 7.3 together ill work a bit more at trying to fit the wh1C i got to the banks pedestal
its the shortie side pipes that do it...
ive had a cheap summit system on my dually when i got it with the stans headers. it sounded pretty mean. tjsea has posted vids of his truck with duals and headers also.....

i paid $200 for the clip with the hood and an 80-86 cowl panel...
