Haven't posted in here in awhile....since im waiting on a part for my Honda I decided to give my trucks a bit of love.
Moved the dually...bled the brakes, rerouted a fuel line, pulled the front diff cover and painted it, reinstalled it with new bolts and filled the diff with gear oil, changed...

You should have never had to elongate those holes in the firewall plate. You keep hammering on the sheet metal at the tunnel till you can move the plate over enough it lines up with the steerjng column bolts.
I converted an f150 to manual from auto and had to beat yhe living daylights out of the tunnel to get it to fit. The sheet metal is not held to a super tight tolerance in these locations...ive had people tell me they bolted up and didn't have to hammer at all and some you have to hammer a lot...

Oil is one of those subjects that you ask 10 people and you will get 10 different answers...
Personally ive noticed my trucks burn rotella like a fat kid eats cake...i switched to delo or delvac (delvac when I can get it cheap) and my consumption pretty much went away.
the more important...
the ratios are off in an NP435 for a diesel. can you make it work? sure.... couple people have done it... Dieselcrawler has one in his crawler....I know another guy that swapped a C6 for an Np435 in a truck i sold him....
you be better off finding a T19 or a ZF5 and leaving the F150 alone...
Ok... when i bought my 91 i was told the rear tank leaks.... well now the front tank is leaking....so im going to bite the bullet and replace both right away...
