I finally got the passenger side 4 caps on just came in from the garage. I will start the truck in the morning and see if I have any leaks.
So the official start of the test starts now. My truck has 188750 miles on it and a full set of billet aluminum injector caps, new viton orings, and...
Day one of testing 90 miles of driving so far everything looks good. I will keep an eye on them if anything happens I will be sure to let everyone know.
The truck ran for about 20 minuets Drove it around for half of that time and so far everything looks good. No leaks as of right now. After I have more drive time on them I will report back.

OK I finally took some time to get some of these on my truck its been so blazing hot here in WI is just was not motivated to got side and work on it. I envy you guys down south for your rust free trucks but I will stick to the salt belt for the usually not so hot weather!
I have the 4 on...

how much lift do you need to clear 37 inch military tires on a 93 f350? i dont mind if it rubs the springs am full lock and i am planning on putting a different bumper on.
This is something I would like to produce and sell after I get a good test on them to make sure they are going to work. I have not came up with a price yet. In a week or so I will report back to let everyone know how they work.
I needed to turn the fuel down on my factor turbo IP that I have on my NA engine and did not want to make mess with the fuel that was going to drain out if the IP when I took the cover off so I took one of my 2 year old daughters diapers and stuck it under the IP. It collected all of the fuel...
As much as i would like to make it to the rally its just not in the cards for me right now. I am getting low on vacation days from work, darn work always gets in the way of the fun!
As of right now I have one extra 90 degree injector cap that has a small flaw in it if you want PM me your...
If you got nothing going on Saturday morning I am going to be working on putting these on my truck:sly
Also was going to put on a new lift pump and a few other little stuff.
The programming software I am using to make these is really cool it's kinda like an auto cad drafting program. If I can draw it out I can machine it. So if it were round or hex machining it would be that same once the program is set it would take just about the same time to make. The 90...
I had a little time at work last night so I made a couple 90 degree billet aluminum injector return caps.
These caps take a bit longer than the straight caps. There is one machine stop so I can turn the stock in my vise to machine the second nipple.
I am not able to set up my machine to run over night I have to leave it clean for the day shift person. If they do go into production I will be making a setup fixture so I can just throw it on the table clamp it down and hit go then there would be almost no setup time.
What I was going for on this project was a nice cap with no joints to weld or solder so that way I should have no possible way of it leaking. As for the waste its really not all that much and the stock I am using will cost about $12.50 to make a full set of caps. The price would be the time...
Yes what he said. I have not thought about selling them yet, If they work out good I would like to sell them but this is a time consuming job! I am required to work a minimum of 46 hours a week and I would have to make the caps after work so these would be made in small amounts.
I...
