    im thinking some smittys glasspacks for mine. That way when my neighbor cranks up the music at night I can crank up old LuLu Belle! Seriously, Im thinking a turbo muffler may be the way to go if I can fined a bolt on unit.

    Question: what is the fastest street legal 7.3 idi truck? and what is the top speed ? Question came to mind when speaking with a friend of mine. Im thinking a 7.3 with 3.55 gears and a 5 speed should have no problem hitting 100 mph.....any opinions or facts will be greatly appreciated.

    RPM limit

    Wes, I would guess that with stock tires my '89 with 4.10 gears and 5 speed will top out at 95 mph. Am i correct? I have never got LuluBelle past 3 grand.....dont want to take a chance picking up pieces of engine( LOL).

    with 4.10 gears I take off in 2nd and wind it up to 1500 rpms. out on the highway i usually run 2100 / 60 mph. Never have wound it up past 2600

    What size is the lower radiator hose on a 89 F-250? Im interested in that style heater, plus easy to install( I think). BTW I did block off the radiator completely this morning and got enough heat to defrost the windshield, plus got some heat in the cab... Not bad for for freezing...

    My infrared temp indicator is where I get temp readings, not my gauge in the cluster....However when the needle hits "N" in normal its a pretty good bet the temp is about 180+.
