    I've been down this road, and ended up shelling out for dealer replacement parts. The aftermarket stuff just doesn't fit properly and looks like hell. I know thats not much help, but the dealer parts are much higher quality, and the first ones lasted 20 or so years, so I didn't feel too bad...

    Pilot bearing is fine, Throwout bearing is fine. It's definitely in the clutch, as it stops as soon as I press the pedal. I'm thinking I'm gonna find a nice DMF and buy a disc and plate for it. Ryan

    Yes, anything over 1000 rpm is good. I raised the idle a bit and it's tolerable but still sounds pretty gravelly.
