    I did have trouble with my inspection cover hitting the cast-in counterweight on the flywheel. I forgot to mention that. My inspection cover is on a shelf in the garage right now, since I'll hopefully have the trans out again soon to replace it. I'll "massage" it so it clears the flywheel...

    You need to add some reinforcement if at all possible. I used some aluminum flat bar I had laying around. I also filled the upper post with epoxy and built it up around the post, then drilled and tapped it for a machine screw rather than a self tapping screw. Mine has been like this for years...

    I have the ATS Aurora 2000 kit (similar placement to 093) with the GPC in the factory location. I've even had to change the GPC once, wasn't bad at all. Like others have said, just use the heat shield and you'll be fine.

    I just ordered some square cut o-rings from McMaster-Carr. They have every size you could ever need, and you can get them in Viton so they're oil-resistant.
