    I have a 93 NA with E4OD reg cab 250, getting near 20 mpg highway. I suspect it has a 353 ratio rear. Thinking of getting 94 crew cab dually turbo with E4OD. Do not know what ratio rear. Will there be a big difference in MPG between the two?

    Not recommending but just to let you know, A fellow in Richmond VA CL has a reman 7.3 IDI for close to 3K$. I do not know any of the details other than that.

    I do not have a temp gauge, but the fluid got hot enough to get the nasty burnt smell to it. Drained fluid in tranny and TC and put in new filter. Has not gotten hot enough to get the burnt smell again, but has puked a time or two since. I will install the larger cooler and see if that solves...
