why would a shop charge 5-6,000.00 to change Injector Cups ? Is it that much work involved ? Especially if you have the Special removal tool.- Alwaysreadyrob

So my friend has an 83 6.9 and for some reason he keeps breaking or bending the rod in the master cylinder and the firewall keeps cracking... whats the problem ? Is his clutch too heavy duty or what ?- Alwaysreadyrob

Did I just have an injector stick?
What about Conestoga Diesel Injectors ? I have a 94 turbo IDI ... got it with 128000 miles 5 yrs ago. It now has 334600 miles on it and i run straight veggie oil in the 7.3, do you think i need new injectors ? Truck goes 85 + on the fwy running straight filtered veggie oil.- Alwaysreadyrob

slow throttle response and stalls when return to idle
Someone once told me that on a truck with a lot of miles like mine 339,782 miles on it, the manual fuel pump even if new may not function properly because the libe on the cam that makes the lift pump work is probably worn and not getting the full strokes to lift pump.- Alwaysreadyrob

does anyone know if the mishimoto trans coolers come with hoses ? And if so what type of hose is used ? I got a fresh transmission built by john wood so i know thats about the best you can get there... had a shop install the trans cooler right out of the box so i never saw the content.
