    At least the freakin ground squirrels didnt chew through your fuel line ! Thats what I get for running straight Veggie Oil. Think i will have to switch to braided steel lines or straight copper or aluminum and or dose my fuel with Tabasco Sauce lol ! Yosemite area California

    Just got one on Amazon, thanks for the quick responses. What a great support group we have here. So if mine is grey like the engine does that meannit could be the original ? I just think it needed replacing after all the truck is a 94 with 306570 miles on er.

    Ok thank you, does the Schrader valve have to be specifically for fuel ? Because of the seal and possible corrosion or leakeage ? And does anyone use plumbers tape on these rails or something else to prevent leakeage ?

    Ok thanks , im just a few yrs new to these IDIs. Actually had this 94 turbo since 2011and since it never broke down on me per say .... i dont know much about the engines other than what i learn here so thanks.

    dies anyone know if the sock turbo came factory wrapped with a sort of heat shield from the factory ? And what model number turbo came on the truck ? Its the K vin IDI pre powerstroke and i cant find not ine youtube video that addresses the model of turbo on these trucks.

    Thanks guys, so on that note, with doing all the work to pull the engine, would it make sense to get a new long block and new turbo and drop it in and bolt on all the accessories from the old engine ? Returning it for the core charge ?
