    Can a cam install be done while the motor is in-frame? YES. Is it a lot more work compared to pulling the motor? YOU BETCHA. I've done it both ways. I'd rather pull the motor so I can re-seal the oil pan and re-do the rear main seal since I was already there.

    there are three, or four if you get real picky, generational differences on Banks turbos for the Ford IDI. The older non-wastegated models are trans specific. even one from a T19 will not fit onto a ZF5. It's that specific. Why? the uppipes come around the sides fo the trans and up the backside...

    you just saved me from crawling under the truck to take pics. the brackets you have in the pic is OEM. Danielle has the aftermarket kit. they don't take into account for the sway bar.

If you approach them as a source for a cheap driveable car, you are sorely mistaken. this is the least safe...

    there's no mistaking one from the other. :D my 'burb does mild off-road adventures, so it won't see a nice paint just ever, but a scratch and shoot with stuff from TSC.

    1990 "should" have been the first year for the 4L80E. Unlike the E4DOA, that trans is bulletproof. mime isn't rusty but is plagued with the delaminating paint :O
