    here's a big hint...... tack weld the bed bolts to the bed. tack them 180* apart. it will save you a shitload of grief when one decides to spin.

    sounds like you own a commercial chassis F350 truck. if you can't find a PSD ZF5(S47) trans, you next best bet is putting in a 4wd Zf5(S42) and haning a transfer case behind it. with the shift linkage hooked up and giving you the option of going to 4LO and that will help you drop your ratios...

    get the spindle nut socket so you can torque it down right. beats burning up axle tubes. brakes can be done without special tools....but...it's not going to be a cake-walk. personally, I like the path of least resistance. :D
