forget just a Bullnose.
seeing a Bull, Brick or OBS on the open interstate is a rare sight these days. Still, my Brick/OBS morphidite is my favorite for backroad travel.
for the curious........since I have no dog with me, I have proximity sensors mounted on my truck and yes, there are...
years ago I was heading out to TX for travel/work. stopped in Victorville to visit another member. headed out about noon. It was really getting warm. Sitting in traffic waiting to get on the freeway, my freshly converted R134 system vented. needless to say, it was a very warm two months. :(
btw......here's the latest.

registration blocking is coming.
the owner/operator of the truck is in danger of "melting" in the heat, so it will need to be done sooner than later. i won't be in TX until later this year, so I can do anything about it asap. therefore, I'm farming out the job. pm me their contact info. thanks !!!!
"new" these days may not mean "good"
if the problem is still there after the swap out, you missed something in the rewire work.
if the problem goes away, the problem is in the switch.
that's about as definitive as you can get without extensive contemplation.
the switch you posted from amazon is it.
the problem is the AMP load of the circuit goes through the switch. ideally, you need to relay the high load portions.
this is also what you will need...
change out the headlight switch assy before your truck catches on fire. this is the #1 cause of death for our trucks. also, do pay attention to the connector plug and wiring adjacent to the switch.
two things.
one. check the fuel return "T" at the back of the intake for leakage.
all the issues seem inline to that.
two. get up into your engine compartment and look down through the injection pump hole and see if the intake valley is wet.
happy hunting :D
i like the color :D
but I went slightly off the metallic path with a pearl/mica midcoat instead.
don't hate it because it's a chevy. just enjoy the color and how the bodylines can be brought out with the right paint :D
you'll get an added bonus of "jake brake" sound when you decel from 3k/rpm to 2k/rpm with your ZF :D
it will leave those "cummings" jerks wondering what hit them :eek::Thumbs Up:cool:
wait until the new injection pump shows up.
you can put a fork in the current one.
it's done.
dumb question, you did have power going to the pump on both pulls right?
you say you have another IDI that runs.
does this one crank over as fast as that one?
you NEED a minimum of 300 rpm to build compression otherwise you are pissing into the wind.
it is a good sign that you are getting wetness at the injectors when cranking. that tells me you injection pump isn't...
