I would take a look at everything between the pedal and the clutch fork to see if there's anything worn or binding that added pressure to your bellhousing. If you find something that caused the undue stress, I'd fix it and replace your bellhousing with another one. I'd probably put a clutch in...
There's a blower motor resistor that is very prone to failure, but I thought the symptom was that the fan switch wouldn't work on anything except high. Some food for thought but I think I just talked myself out of this being your problem.
How much distance is between the leaf and the bump stop? Your front leaves could just be worn out and need replacing. I did an add-a-leaf on my old TTB and you will need to get camber bushings or find a competent shop to align it as lifting it does change the camber. You should also make sure...
I had both versions in my red and white truck. Rollover noise was definitely present at lower RPMs. Turning up the idle slightly dramatically reduced the noise for me.
The other question you have to ask is regarding the value of a quiet flywheel versus the longer term potential of the DMF...
As the semi-driver shortage continues, you will see teenagers driving across state lines. You talk about a controversial topic

All coupled together, came from a running and driving truck. I bought this to install in my bricknose but now it's for sale.
Pick up in Seattle or I can possibly deliver it to the greater Portland area.
$950 cash
Thanks
Well it's not my preference because I think it's worth more with the truck, but if somebody makes me an offer on the truck and doesn't want it I'd probably be willing to sell it.
Helping out a buddy with a box truck, looking for a spare wheel (ideally two wheels). I know the regular steel wheels are not that common, trying to open my search criteria and look at motorhome and/or E450 van wheels. Can anybody confirm if they are the same between van and trucks? I am...
You should consider going brand new as the original 6.2 and 6.5 had issues with the block casting. There's an Optimizer 6500 updated version that was developed for AM General that is supposed to be much improved.
The 6.5 gets a bad rap for not being super durable, but it's hard to dispute...
Good morning and Happy Thursday. Like so many things these days, I am at a crossroad that requires downsizing, and there's just not enough room in my life for two diesel trucks. I really, really like the Centurion that I acquired this past Fall, but the reality is that the PSD just suits my...
If you happen to have a electric fuel pump handy, you could install it temporarily and confirm that air intrusion is the culprit. A fuel pressure gage is also a nice piece for trouble shooting.
You might want to tell folks you have a PTO and pump for sale, and post the pump tag details so folks can see the displacement.
I'd love to help you more, but I have to go wash my hands just from getting this close to a Muncie product :puke:
I would be interested to see what the mileage is and why it got totaled. The Weld Stone Crushers and color matched canopy would suggest somebody really cared about that truck. With prices being what they are right now, I'm surprised a competent shop didn't put that one back together.
A brick nose with a push bumper and twin stacks: you going for the Mad Max/zombie apocolypse look? :joker:
I love the functionality of a push bumper, thought about a front mounted hitch with a removable receiver pusher for Friday night dirt track services
Advanced Auto has it here on the west coast, and they ship for free on orders over $35. They almost always have a coupon or a discount code so check to see if they have a coupon code that could apply.
Good luck to you: if I had anything with that kind of mileage on it I would be hesitant to...
Doing a little PM on the Centurion extra-cab and noticed the belts were flopping more than I expected, even after tightening them a bit. RockAuto has some pretty good deals right now on Gates, Dayco and Continental v-belts. I bought two sets of four belts (power steering, vacuum pump...
Trucks are at an all time premium right now, and there’s a lot of people misrepresenting a lot of junk right now.
Here’s my question: can you wait another 6 months or do you need a truck right now?
