Back to the packaging subject, as far as I know with regards to GPS: Beru is always made in Germany. I always assumed Motorcraft was repack Beru because packaging said made in Germany. That first pic didn’t come from Germany, so I agree it is some other product that is suspect to swelling upon...

    02/94 F350 4.10 diff rebuild // clutch kit and spiders rec ??

For the Super Duty Elocker, you are just swapping the carrier, not the whole axle so you will retain your existing bolt pattern. it would be just like installing a Detroit or True Track with the exception of wiring. Again, it’s all documented, google is your friend...

    02/94 F350 4.10 diff rebuild // clutch kit and spiders rec ??

Do a quick search on the factory clutch plate style limited slip in the Sterling's and you'll find that they are pretty notorious for wearing out quickly and not turning both wheels when you need them to. A Detroit Locker or Eaton TrueTrac offer far better performance, as U2Slow is describing...

Might be going to look at a "new" truck, what to look for.

In regards to the dually traction, they are not good but another potential solution besides a welded diff is an elocker. No idea what rear axle would be in that truck, but if it’s a Sterling you could think about the factory Ford E-Locker which folks are doing pretty commonly for around $500...

How it Works - Fuel Selector Valve (FSV) and IDI Fuel Math AKA "What fuel pump should I run?"

Your plumbing sizing sounds spot on. And by the way: if you look at the Deatschwerks e-pumps, you'll see that their inline pumps come with -6 porting for 250 LPH but the jump up to -8 porting on the 350 LPH inline pumps. Seems like pretty supporting sizing to your math above. Great write up...

I have two words for you: Freakin Awesome! I am not a BullNose fan, and I’m the only man in North America who admits in public that I like a properly prepped 6.0 PSD, but I like the combination you are embarking on. Nothing but respect for you: I am subscribed ;Sweet

Good batteries are a must, but so are good cables and starter. Check your cables and connections, and think about a new starter. Remember you are compressing to ignition so cranking speed really matters. Good luck and happy holidays

You could media blast it all if you really want it super nice. There's some folks out here who do mobile media blasting and it's really not as expensive as you think if you are just doing a specific area/panel and not a whole vehicle. You could also just DA sand everything that's reasonably...

    HELP!!!!!!!!

Do you have a pressure gage on your regulator? If you do you could just monitor the pressure and see if it’s related. You could also use a manual override switch to start your electric pump prior to cranking.

    Crewcab Project

Lots of wires on a PSD vs IDI for sure. 7.3 CCLB dually with a 6 speed is a sweet rig, I think it's worth the effort. One thing that I would pay a lot of attention to is any updates/differences between 99-03 that might effect the harness options. If you can identify the correct harness for...

Anybody need the under valve cover injector/glow plug harness for an OBS PSD? (twin plug UVCH)

You’ve got to splice the newer style pigtails into your harness. There’s a good diagram for the wiring, it’s not hard, just a little time consuming as there is some shielding tape on the injector wires you have to reuse, and you’ll want to cut, solder and marine heat shrink all of it so you...

    building a 1997 F350 cclb 7.3L 4x4

I think your recipe sounds pretty good. You could always go with the stock Excursion/99-03 components in regards to injectors & intercooler, that pump should work well with it. Everybody really seems to like the Hydra Chip as you get limitless tunes for one price. I think the toughest part is...

    Issues with starting

Where did your new pump come from and how did you set the timing? What does your tachometer show when cranking? If it not >500 rpms go get a new starter.
  25. lotzagoodstuff

    Towing ?

I would concur with almost all above. Get a pyrometer, get it timed correctly, make sure you have a good fuel filter in it, pay attention to the grades and altitude, and don’t be afraid to run it against the governor as you pull the grades. Be prepared to have the skinny pedal at the floor and...
