    '90 F350 Crewcab 4x4 "BFTD" Project..

Got it all but done... its pretty well ready to install. Couldn't stand the color difference... so after fitting all 3 gauges, I plasti-dipped that side of the cluster... Trimmed the dip off the gauge faces and re-fit the glass after cleaning... matches much nicer now. I may...

Calling all WVO users, your feedback is appreciated.

Just for better mount options. If it were in my truck, I would want to flush mount the screen into a holder on the dash (similar to programmers on newer trucks) and run the wiring down to the control box below the dash.. that's just me though.

Calling all WVO users, your feedback is appreciated.

Could you make it with a remote display so you could mount the controller up under the dash and the display elsewhere? Looks really slick and would work well for any alternative fuel (although wmo isnt nearly as picky... its wise to have the engine at temp before switching).

So started on this.... Started gutting it... Cut to fit... Tight fit... Not a fan that the black doesn't match... maybe I'm a bit OCD... Anyways... mechanical oil pressure, water temp, and volt meter will fill the stock cluster.

    94 F250 7.3 Sitting for 15 years

Time to put a pyro on it and bump the fuel up a bit. Turn the fuel up until you can pull a load and not get over 1250egt at full tilt. I'd also check the timing on it as well. In stock form, it shouldn't struggle that much pulling 7k... Yes you'll feel it but it shouldn't be a complete dog.

    '90 F350 Crewcab 4x4 "BFTD" Project..

More progress... Had the day free so decided to modify my bed tank and I had been planning to do... Someone at some point had tried to install a barrel bung to the tank and they didn't seal it up very well. Its leaked a bit since I put it on the truck so I decided to delete it...

    Spare engine worth keeping around?

Personally, I'd sell the 6.9 to keep from moving it.

Zf5 is Cracked In Two Places

My case cracked in the same area. I linked it to a bad front driveshaft cv and being pull started in 4-low. I bought the truck and found the crack shortly after I got the truck running. Previous owner had been pull starting it and beating on it. For a temp fix, I cleaned the area and...

Well, if you'll sell just the bracket/solenoid, I'll just take those that way you can still sell the pump. You may call Justin at R&D and see if he'd be interested in the core pumps. He has bought them in the past. Let me know if they look the same and if they do, let me know a paypal...

Let me know a price. Do you happen to know what year the truck was? I had a bracket and solenoid but it didn't fit the 7.3 pump/linkage. Not sure if they changed at some point. Thanks

Could you also check if one of those pumps has the high idle bracket and solenoid? If they do, I'll buy the whole pump. I could also use a tach sensor if you have one.

Yup. I bought it off of eBay but you can get them from Ford. Had to build a mount for it but it worked out great.

    '90 F350 Crewcab 4x4 "BFTD" Project..

More progress... Replaced track bar bushings which helped a good bit with the wobble... however the main fix was to drop tire pressure down to 18psi and drive it for about 10 miles to get rid of the flat spots.... then ran them back up to 25 and its drivable now. Smooth as glass at 55+...

    Steering column play??

... The rag joint is tight. The play is on the opposite end of the intermediate shaft... Not on the steering box side. If you look at the column as it passes through the firewall... Then the intermediate ujoint... Then the slip shaft... Then the rag joint. If you grab the top...

    Steering column play??

Yup... Above the intermediate shaft. Rag joint is tight as is the slip... It's the shaft coming out of the column that has play. Apparently there are some bushings in the column that are done. Need to find a different column.

    Steering column play??

Hey alls... So I thought my steering slop was coming from the intermediate shaft but after having an extra set of hands to track it down, I discovered that the play is in the column itself. I can grab the shaft coming out of the bottom of the column (where the universal from the...

    '90 F350 Crewcab 4x4 "BFTD" Project..

Got the passenger side buttoned up... Then onto the driver's... the side that I had to split the lock out hub apart due to it being seized to the stub axle. This side had new brake pads like the passenger side. The pass. side had an "ok" rotor on it as well.. I assume it was...
