    Yesterday I got the 6 bolts undone from the parts truck bed so I can remove it. It was a 50/50 deal 1 broke/ 2 cut off and 3 unscrewed. Hopefully this weekend I can get the bed off my crew cab.     Already did top hose about 100 miles ago. It got a pin hole in it and sprayed all over my engine. Had to buy 3 gal of regular antifreeze to get me home. So going to drain it out flush it out and put the good stuff in. Why change the cap??

    So what did you do with your truck today?

    The carrier bearing was toasted and so was the axle joints. Figured since shaft was off went ahead and do the u joints. Also replaced wheel bearings in front hubs since they were apart. roughly $300 in parts and $150 for him to do it. I was going to do it my self but it's been raining here...

    Drove it over to the mechanic's to have new u-joints (rear) and axle joints put on it. parts cost plus his cost of $150.00 to do it. :sly

    Who can tell me why these leak?

    My Sons always name our vehicles. Currently they call mine Big Nasty. When I bought it someone covered the whole truck with rhino liner and I had a fuel leak which made the truck stink. But my youngest said I should paint it yellow and call it Big Nugget! LOL I'll have to show him your truck later.

    I manage to get the passenger doors in primer. Discovered whole front door is full of bondo. Just have roof and driver side to go. I may pull the bed off and switch beds before Rally time. Also change out brake booster and master cylinder. (now brakes are worse)?? Next week plan on doing axle...
