Would like to do something bigger but it's looking like an IDI is all that's going to fit without cutting. Would like to eventually hop one up with a big pump and an R&D turbo kit, would like to get around 300hp (plan on hauling with it).
DT466 would be ideal but I'm pretty sure they're too...
I'm absolutely shocked. Not 6 inches away the frame is literally gone, but the bolts still came out of the driveshaft with very little fight.
Also, vintage 1989 F350 frame for sale, no lowballers I know what I have....
(Some assembly required)
I suppose I could, however I have another crossmember here. I'm not sure if it's E4OD or 2WD ZF5, but I'm just going to modify it with a piece of pipe. At least that's the current plan.
That's premium NY road salt for you.... That coupled with years of sitting. The two combined is a horrible combination. Even the leaf springs are rotting apart.
Last Saturday I brought home a new project :D
1951 Ford F7. I have exciting plans but have to finish other projects before I can consider starting this one... :(
The rain has been almost every day this year :frustrate
Since we're supposed to have beautiful weather this weekend I started working on the parts truck. As you can see, I don't really want to spend any time underneath this unless I have to....
So let's get the cab ripped off and out of the...
I don't believe they are being produced anymore, at least I couldn't find them. RockAuto has one reman listed as having the pin but it's almost $400 including core charge.
Some of us have tried that. After my third or fourth warranty replacement starter I gave up and put a powermaster in. Zero regrets and made in USA too.
I ran a Delphi version of that carter pump you're referencing and it didn't have sufficient flow under load at RPM. I was running into fuel starvation issues pulling hills. The carter could be different but I removed my Delphi e-pump and went back to the mechanical, the problem went away.
Not sure what you're referencing, can you tell me what location you're referring to?
EDIT: Are you referring to the one in the thermostat housing? That's to bleed air but not allow fluid passage with the thermostat closed. I would not be surprised at all if yours had fallen out at some point...
Haven't been around much lately but we failed inspection the other day, probably because the vacuum booster has been leaking a little bit as long as I've owned the truck..... Said he almost drove it through the wall. I normally drive like an old man with very little brakes, I'm assuming he...
I look at it this way. These numbers are all completely made up to illustrate how I imagine it would work because it makes sense to me that way....
You have 5 items in your cart that weighs lets say 9.5#. You add one more that makes it 10.5# which jumps the order to the next shipping tier so...
Yeah but it's so much more fun when we only have mud season and everything is just brown and soggy for 6 months :frustrate
At least when winter actually shows up it's a LITTLE bit nicer....
@Jonnyboy0859
No I didn't. After talking to some people I'm planning on modifying a powerstroke downpipe. Sounds like it should be fairly close. I just ordered a whole exhaust for a 95 and will modify that.
I did too actually although it wasn't 6 years, 3 or 4 for me. Technically my old one was a 90.
I've missed my old 90 ever since I sold it and bought a truck. A lady at Church had given it to me. It was her father's car. It wasn't in as good shape as this but it was close. This one has far more...
They changed in 91. I had a 90 while I was in high school and it was the same style. 91 started the "bubble" years. Unfortunately this year has the computer controlled carb. My 90 had EFI. Not that it's a problem, but that old GM TBI was pretty solid.
You're not kidding, especially since it...
Long story short, I had a coworker hook me up with a car his mother in law was getting rid of. I picked it up last week and today I took it to the carwash.
I may not get much love with a GM in here but holy cow this thing is CLEAN
1987 Caprice Classic. 74k miles one owner and NO ROT just...
Ya know you made me look back through the messages to see what I told you. I told you if I decided to sell them I'd let you know. Ironically the one that isn't damaged is the passenger side which happens to be the side that IS damaged on Diego.
I mean.... I knew you would find those other...
