I've never seen one of these hydraulic pump brackets before. Is this just a really well done home made job or did a company actually sell these? If i had the money i'd pick it up for the sole reason of just to have. Which side of the engine would this mount on?

I have a pump similar to that (salvaged off an F350 I scrapped); it was mounted lower on the passenger side and used a dedicated v-belt. There was a v-belt pulley mounted on the end of the crank shaft (that I did not salvage) for the pump. I am guessing that the loose pulley in the pic is supposed to be crank mounted the same way?

The pump bracket I have is very simple, I can take a picture of it if you like.

you're better off with a PTO off the trans you're putting in. clutch pump PTO's are a weak second to a trans mounted PTO.

Most the manufactures of hydraulic bale beds for round bales make hydraulic pump brackets for electric clutch hydraulic pumps. They are mounted on the engine vs the trans as it would be a nightmare to operate a pto operated pump on a manual transmission for the bale bed. Most of the time the clutch is pushed in when grabbing a round bale.
