Its been several years since I have installed a fuel pressure gauge on anything. Whats the latest "go to" for quality fuel pressure gauges? I have 3 idi's that have had an electric lift pump mod over the past little while and would like to finalize each truck with a gauge and dash/pillar pod to keep an eye on pump output.

Thanks

I have the Autometer Z series electric fuel pressure gauge installed in a dash pod in my truck. It is the 0-15 psi model. It has worked great, but now the needle is fluttering a bit. I suspect I have a bad ground on the sender. The sender is mounted remotely on the passenger's fender well. It is my understanding that these fuel pressure senders, (and oil pressure senders for that matter) do not like the extreme vibration from the diesel engines. Whatever gauge you buy, be sure to also buy a remote mount kit for the sender.

the question is.... do you want it inside the cab, or outside?

Thank you. I will look into it. And where do you have yours plumbed into?

I have a braided stainless hose tee'd into the filter head where the restricted filter sensor is located. The hose is on one port of the tee and the restricted filter sensor is on the other. At least this shows me what pressure I have in the filter head.

Nice work. Yes, I do want the gauge to be in the cab. But having another one in the engine bay would be great to.
