Got it. Haha. It was rusted on the bottom and had a couple dead mice living in it which were if nothing else maintaining my vacuum level.

Can I still get a coffee can? Hook the two hoses that went into it together in the meantime?

Also I just got done with all of my wire management and had a two piece push together wire fail in the shrink tubing and as you can see.. haven't put that back together... or thought about it even haha

I don't know if you can still get the coffee can, I'm sure you probably can but the small plastic bowling ball from a 99 Jeep XJ would work just fine and a pinch

I'll sell you one, your choice of brands: Folgers, Hills Bros, or Maxwell house...... ;Poke
For the lid and fittings, you're on your own....

Totally off topic but since thats probably the end of this thread anyway, being resolved, but in re: to your sig, I had a 93 Geo Metro 4 door hatchback with a blown head gasket. It still got 30+mpg hwy. I had to stop every 100-150 miles and top off coolant and oil (both were burning but not mixing). I drove it 4500 miles over a couple weeks on a long trip. It had no A/C. I don't mean it didn't work, it wasn't ever there. It had the condenser delete plate and no compressor. Seller said the (nonexistant) A/C system would explode if charged according to hr mechanic. Ooookay then.

Oddly enough my cruise works perfect as does everything without the can entirely and just hooking the two hoses together with a coupler. Weird. Guess I'll try that universal, but those hose ends look wrong so I might have to look around and I'm assuming the connector in the can had a check valve?
