You nailed it Heath, 2006 TN.

............. Just have Missy tow the camper up with the Buji f450.
Thought that was where those picture were from.

LOL Missy doesn't like driving the wide hip girl (F450) empty, but she'll do it. I've tried to get her to give the camper a haul before. She has refused..... She's convinced she'll short turn it on top of a prius or side swipe a semi with it. LOL I'd love to have her haul the camper with new rig while I enjoy the turbo whistle and ZF5 trans of the IDI. But, I don't think that'll ever happen. I'm convinced if I get hit by a coal truck tomorrow, she'll sell the F450 and the camper the next day (along with the tractor, bush hog, dirt bikes, my bow, shot gun, rifles......). LOL

That was at the tow truck museum. You have no idea how much I miss that dually. What I though were issues with that truck are nothing compared to my current one. PA Dept Child Services said they would not force extradition from GA on a bench warrant but I was too afraid to find out and sold the truck to make a payment!

After leaving that rally and heading to Myrtle Beach is when my engine internals decided to see the light of day!

Why not use the f450 to tow the idi atracj the camper like a ice road trucker style or a 18 wheeler two trailer set up

Requires a commercial drivers license.

Aside from that, it's illegal in several states regardless of your license type. As far as I know NY only allows it on the interstate, and I'm not sure they allow it aside from 18 wheelers anyway.

There is a receiver hitch on the back of the fifth wheel with a four pin plug for another trailer. The guy I bought the camper from would double tow. He'd have his boat hitched to the back of the camper. He actually would launch the boat before he would get to the campground. Have his wife take the boat to the dock at the campground while he got there, checked in, and parked at their site.

He said he got a lot of strange looks backing the boat down the launch ramp behind his camper. Man, I certainly don't have the skills to back a boat behind a camper down into the water. A mistake there and you could loose your toys and tow rig all at once.

How are the floor mats coming Rob?

Seat belts are in. Everything else is a bonus at this point.

Shirts came in. Sneak peak.

Think I’ve got firewood lined up. We got fire and Good food and loaded coolers, we have a rally as far as I’m concerned. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

Still on the list:
Backup camera.
Swap to Maroon seat belts.
Check fluids
Adjust bumpers.
Maybe actually wipe the dirt off the dash.

Two weeks guys!
How is everyone's todo list coming along?
Eh....... getting closer.

The wiring is all done on the camper backup camera and trailer tire pressure monitor. What a joy.... Had to pull the all the screw holding the skirt under the camper off the drivers side.... Pull all the old foam insulation off from the tank plumbing and axle area.... Drill a few holes in my camper (felt like I was doing something horrible)..... run all the wire and keep it out of harms way (i.e. slide mechanism).... and run the umbilical for the 12 pin out of the front of the camper where I'll plug into the truck.

Get all that done, buttoned up the skirt, re-insulate the junk (pipes and whatnot) that comes through the skirt, and go to move the slide out..... and the automatic breaker for the hydraulics fails!!!! Hope to grab a couple of new ones tomorrow and get that fixed.

Still need to find the 12 pin pigtail hidden somewhere under the back of the truck and plug it into the 12 pin socket on the bumper. Rumor has it..... it's located somewhere above the spare. Looks like I'm gonna have to drop the spare soon and hope I find it cause I haven't seen anything remotely close to the 12 pin pigtail yet.

Missy decided to pull all the blinds and window trim thingies (don't know what they're called). Cleaned all the blinds and they are ready to reinstall. However, she has started to reupholster all the window trim thingies cause she doesn't like the original pattern or something. It's not gonna be quick to get those done, but I won't complain...... she was looking at new campers pretty hard for a few days ........ and fabric and staples are MUCH, MUCH cheaper than campers. LOL
