Hey all. Haven't posted in a while, been crazy busy.
I've been driving the wheels off this truck, in town outta town and it's been running great until the other day.
My son and I drove downtown for some RV parts and when I stopped at a light down there, my brake light and abs light came on, the pedal felt weird too. When we left the RV place, the truck barely would move and then finally the brakes locked up solid. I did some quick internet reading and found a suggestion to unplug the connector at the rabs valve. That fixed it and the brakes unlocked, in fact they work better with it unplugged. So is there something with this valve that sounds bad, or could something else be telling it to lock up? Just wanted to know before I buy a new one. Thanks!

The rabs on these trucks cannot lockup the brakes.
While the system may be bad, your lockup problem is elsewhere.
Well... I guess could be some crud in the rabs valve blocking flow.

Maybe plug the rabs connector back in and see if they still lock up, if so I'd try power bleeding a couple of quarts of brake fluid through the rabs valve and the rears--maybe you'll get lucky and bow some crud out! I assumre the fronts are unaffected?
