Hey yall I have a 97 & the gear case is leaking. The shop said it's about 28 hours worth of work @ 100 bucks an hour that's a good chunk of change. I called allover & every shop said about the same.I thought you didn't have to pull the cam just the cam gear?Does that price sound right? Anyways I'm outside of St Louis if anyone knows of anybody let me know.

can't help you shopwise, but from a shop standpoint, if you want to second guess a shop, you just might want to tackle it yourself.

The inner cover pays 24.8 and change with accessories but the outer is gravy.

It would take a good weekend to do it, Pull he radiator so you have enough room, I would recommend doing the KDP while you are in there.
