I have no doubt this subject has been beat into the ground but lets try one more time. I have a 93 7.3 Factory turbo. I would like to hear from folks who have used or are currently running BB code injectors in a 7.3 Factory Turbo and Turbo IP pump set up. What kind of gains or losses have you experienced ? Better HP / Less HP, Better Fuel Mileage / Worse Fuel mileage, any different type of install procedure or same as the G code install, etc. I welcome all input but really would like to hear from folks have physically done the swap on the 7.3 with factory turbo set up.

Thanks In Advance

Original bb codes are gonna be hard to find, r and d idi sells stockish injectors that have new nozzles so better than the "reman" units from any parts store even if they call them bb codes. Better off with those or stage1's from him, or typ4 does a quality rebuild or conestoga diesel as well

You can still buy brand new injectors on eBay. I'd rather have new anyday over something rebuilt. I have a shop in Vegas that tests and matches them for me for 10 bucks a pop.

My built engine ran G codes for a long time. I actually purchased two complete sets. My mileage was never what I expected. So I purchased a set of BB codes from Russ... I found an increase in hp... Torque and mileage. I did time the BB codes to the same timing as the G codes so don't think my BB codes were popping earlier than the G codes that have a higher pop pressure. This forum has seen members post that the G codes are better than ***. From my personal experience.. Nope... I'll run the BB codes...

Not to sound like an ass but it seems like you're challenging me. Go on eBay and scroll down until you see "new."
I just ordered my third set to have for spares and they are indeed brand new.

I had a 93 factory turbo truck and I popped the G codes to 2100. Idled like a fuel injected 302. Great low end torque but I got 14 mpg with 35s and 3:55s. I did like to put my foot in it sometimes and never did any real long trips though. My sig truck gets 14 under same driving with Delphi BBs although I saw 18 on the freeway with 35s and 4.11s when I first assembled it. I just popped my BBs to 2100. Interested to see how it does once I get it back together.

No need to be an ass about it.

To the op, there are still nos B.B. code injectors out there but they are getting very rare. I found a source that had a stockpile of them two years ago but I sold or used what I had within a year. There are no more “new” injectors other than what is left over from the original manufacturing. Everything else is remanufactured with new internals, and this is most likely what the eBay sellers “new” injectors are. You can buy at your own risk with these guys, but if it works for you run it.

Russ had a run of NOS BB injectors, I got me a set while he had em, but I’ve got em in storage until hopefully this spring. As Im hoping to install them with my new pump.

When I first got on the OB forum, the BBs were the go to upgrade for the factory turbo.

I can say my truck did have BB codes in it before my stage1's and my stage 1's are better. Smoother and a little more power. My BB's were a little worn probably but not bad.

I'm not. My response would have been a whole lot different, if I was.
He still wants to believe they are new, When a quick search would turn up some threads.

So everyone that's selling them as new, is lying?
Funny how the diesel shop that tests and balances them for me, knows they're new also.
Guess everyone must be lying to me. Lol
Don't know what your game is but I'm not your average everyday *******

There still are some Delphi BB injectors out there......not worth messing with though....too tough to come up with a replacement if you need one.

The last set I ordered, when I opened the Delphi box, there was a stanadyne box inside it with a D code stanadyne injector.....whole set that way.
