I was talking to another guy that uses a centrifuge regularly a while back. I can't remember who it was but he had pressure switches set up so that if a line blew or anything else it would shut down.
I have also given thought to putting my fuge in a baby pool. That way even if I have a complete tank failure and leak it will just fill the pool around it and not my garage.

Reminds me of a moonshiner running stuff 24/7.
Thought about running a fug but above my know how an makes me curious if a car truck or van with flex fuel option runs bio fuel
We centrifuge oil at my workplace (ship; ferry). It runs constantly... we just switch around which engine its connected to. It re-heats to 80-90*C for efficient separation.
Its good to know there are cheaper machines available. (Ours cost a fortune.) Does yours run on air or electric?

Mine uses a 1hp electric motor and a bronze spur gear pump to pressurize the oil. Once it’s up to about 80psi the centrifuge has two mall jets on th bottom thy squirt the oil out at the same time spnning the bowl
