This is why the price is double. They got wind that I am gonna be in that lodge and they knew they could charge extra.

I've been thinking along this route myself. Decisions decisions lol! I'd love the room of a 5er but I'd like to eventually be able to bring a wheeling rig and camp too! That's part of why I got a cabin. Can't decide what to get haha.

Yeah she told me there was a lodge but I'm broke so cabin will be plenty fine for me haha. Either way it beats sleeping in the back seat!

My slide in overhangs so far over the back I would have to get a hitch extension.

I have modified our slide in to accommodate myself and my girls mostly. I took out the coffin-like bunk that drops down over the dinnette area and replaced with storage.

Due to the existing pipes being rusty I took out all of the stoves and propane fridge and propane heater.

We do all of our cooking outside or in a crockpot. Due to the age of this camper I felt very unsafe with flammable gas inside it haha.

I replaced all of the lights with battery powered LED.

The ***** needs a lot of work so I might replace it with just a camper ***** for if the girls have an emergency.

So basically I have turned it into a glorified tent haha. Ive been an antiRV hard core tent camper my whole life but I have to admit camping alone with 2 small kids is actually doable with this camper

OK so i just made reservations for LO1 from the 8th to 14th.

This is getting exciting. Too bad it's still far away, between this and my other vacations I'm ready for spring and summer. Not winter, fixing a broken radius arm tomorrow, and cold. Is it too early for a convoy thread? Lol

i have just been waiting for someone to start one.

It sounds like a lot of fun. I'd love to make it this year.

rob or mike, are there any major updates on people attending or plans for the week? i know its still early.

so far it will just be me and my dad but that could change.

if it does end up only being the two of us if someone else needs a place to stay for the week i will have some extra room.

We will have to recompile the list again. I think Cory was wanting to come but maybe not for the whole week. He mentioned a hotel. I can tell you there’s really nothing very close so you may want to talk to him and see where he is on things. You may be able to find suitable room mates for a few nights.

Yea if I do come it would be just for a Friday night and Saturday night. Drive down Friday after work(ugh) then head back sunday

And just like that its February. Get your spot reserved folks, in less than 60 days our reserved spots will be released.

How many spots are left? My guess is, the pickings are gonna be getting really slim, especially by the time March gets here.

i know right. people say, oh nice you can just leave whenever..... but if your the one doing the work to make money then its hard to make money if your not there.
