Factory Turbo Removal

Copy that on removing glow plugs with the turbo in. However, my intent is to do IP, injectors, and return lines at the same time. Additionally, I am strongly considering the R&D billeted return system to get away from those troublesome caps and hoses. Not sure I can do all that with the turbo in place.
You can definitely do the IP, injectors and return caps with it in place. You will probably remove a couple of the injector lines entirely to get access, though.

Also, I too don't see any problem with the plastic return caps - as long as you use high temp grease for the O-rings and inside the caps(I just use wheel bearing grease), they don't leak(If you use Vasoline, they /will/ leak).
(Note: To prove my point, I get the absolute cheapest return kits on Ebay... and have had good success with them).
