It would be worth it just for the transmission if it were in my neck of the woods

Yeah, easily worth $1000. A good-running, not-clapped-out, manual 4x4 IDI is a $2000 truck any day of the week.

So is the plan still to meet halfway? This one's the old-school controller, so I'd go manual. Have him either jump the relay, or plug in the block heater for a couple hours, see if it starts then.

So are both sets of tires mounted? Double bonus if so. I'd be all over that if studs were legal here.

Would be a sweet deal for that much a truck like there here where I live would go for about 4k just as it is but then again I live in truck country even donor trucks are about$1500 to $2000 unless u know ppl n good looking truck

Yes that is still the plan. He said with it plugged in she fires up easily.

Lol yes the golf club comes with it.
The studded tires or mounted on steelies.
Plan is to drive this to Alaska come spring.

Get it! The glow plugs are probably toast because the GP controller has failed. Common problem with the 6.9s. Just unplug the controller and give it a 1-2 sec shot of starting fluid to start it. If it's plugged in, you don't even to do that. :)
