Drove out to my in-laws and picked up a half ton of rock.

Installed a sump pump and back filled with the rock.

Required a jack hammer to dig down to put the pump in.

15 mpg out. 16 mpg back 70-80 mph.

It’s so nice finally having a truck with balls. It didn’t even know it had half a ton in the bed. Half a ton had my poor half ton truck begging for mercy.

Tour down three IDIT engines today and made a spot for them on the shelf.

Tried out the new manual tire changer.

Conquered!

Thank God I began my career in crappy tire shops! Also got to use my favorite toy on some seized brake bleeders.

Conquered.

Getting my little home plow truck ready for the lame NJ winter.

It belonged to my friend and chiropractor who passed away last year; so even though it should be in a junk yard I can't! I'm glad to put it to use.

Heats frozen bolts without fire.

Today I ran out and grabbed a barrel of fuel for the heater before the snow hits. They are calling for an inch here but yet we are still pouring liquid rust juice on the roads. Big Red will be on the sidelines for a while.

I hate moving but this old girl makes it a lot easier than with the old half tone. Usually have to ask to borrow someone's truck to move my little yanmar but truck pulled it 55 mpg whole time. Kinda scared of the trailer its on. Trailer and tires aren't meant for hauling tractors but made due with wat I own now that gooseneck is toasted. Did fairly well. But will be in the market for another 3 axle gooseneck soon.
