Glow plug relay?

So I installed the stancor relay. I replaced all wires as they were on there originally. The relay clicks on and off when I use my manual glow plug button normally. I have 12v to the hot side of the relay and 12v to the opposite side when I hit the glow plug button. Now it is acting like the glow plugs aren’t getting hot and it wouldn’t start without starting fluid.

Before I removed the old relay I was able to hit it with a screwdriver to get it to click on and my truck would start normally. Now it clicks on normally but won’t start.

Any ideas?

Might take apart the engine main wire harness and check for corrosion in the plug. Many get a green mess and then the resistance causes lots of heat..That usually burns up the plug. Please remember this is an ALWAYS HOT power wire. Looking closely at the controller you can see 2 yellow wires connected into one round terminal. they are this way on both ends of this hot wire to the fender mounted solenoid and the controller.

I feel like an idiot, I built a new glow plug wiring harness last year and I wrapped it with the plastic electrical conduit. This hid the fact that one of the butt connectors came apart on one side of the harness. I threw a new connector on and the whole system works awesome! Thanks for the tips on the relay gents
