I definitely think it's a supply issue. It started fine, just wouldn't stay running. Like a carburetor emptying the float bowls and then dying.

Guys, I thought the Schrader valve is after the filter. Could someone clear this up for me?

Not mine, but it's the same part.


After installing the new pump to no avail, I tried switching tanks in case I was somehow pulling air. I know my front tank is just under half, but the gauge wasn't changing. Blown fuse for the tank switch. Swapped it out and it blew again.

Sure enough, a nice bath in some diesel and a few feet of rubber hose and I should be able to get to work in 4 hours.

If anything changes I'll let y'all know. Hopefully my hack patch job holds up until Thursday when I can fix it right-ish and use 5/16" return hose instead of the 1/4" I had.
