Does anybody happen to know what size bolts are needed to secure the water pump? Gonna be heading over to a friend's shop today after work to put the water pump on my truck that I'm fixing after the wreck. Problem is it needs new hardware and I don't feel like driving all the way out there, coming back and getting bolts, and going all the way back out lol. I used the search on here but couldn't find it And my phone doesn't have Google. Thanks in advance!

Ya I saw that. Just need the length now. Looks like I'm just gonna have to suck it up and do lots of driving today.

If you have the pump with you, just measure each bolt hole depth and add a 1/2" for thread, be careful of the top two holes, if the bolts are too long they will hit the IP gear and cause trouble

EDIT: If you do have the pump, lay it on a piece of paper or cardboard, punch holes for the bolts, mark the length next to the punched holes.

My method....

Lay new pump on the floor. 1 for 1, remove a bolt from the engine and "install" it in the new pump. Once the old one is out, transfer bolts to old pump, then install new pump. Simple enough.

Unfortunately I do not have it with me. Otherwise that's what I would do.

Aside from the top two bolts, there's really only two different lengths. I don't know how long they are, but there's four long ones and the rest are shorter.

Now, you know, you really need to give us the answer to this post, so if someone is searching in the future, he can find the answer here.

So how long did they end up being?
