Changing fuel filter on another idi, I have the wix filter on my truck 34177, advanced auto didn't have that but had one that was car quest brand that cross referenced it, are these filters okay to run? It looks the same the drain plug even comes with attachment to attach little hose to it so you done drain fuel water on the motor and the screw isn't so tiny either.

I don't see why not.. as long as it fits, it should be fine. These filters aren't particularly fine in any case - 10-micron IIRC.

Okay, I know it doesn't have a sensor hook up but the stock one doesn't have it plugged in and plug looks messed up anyway and the bowl is weeping a little bit so why not just delete it lol

I have none of my sensors connected, except for perhaps the filter vacuum sensor, on trucks that still have it.

Yeah they have their filter light coming on and off when you rev the engine some and they said it was just changed but it looks pretty old, simple things first. Also having stuff pedal problems that I think is ascotiated with loose old serpentine belt and possibly bad tensioner or wrong belt previously installed

I'm not sure it does look a little different but the size looks the same we will see in the morning, I think it's kinda net it come with a little adapter you can hook up to line so you don't drip the fuel and water onto your motor
