deleting fuel head question

@raydav - so you made your own block then? i wasn't even going to use the switch
@Kiwif150 - i was going to put it there if i decide to use a pusher pump like the holley. but i would still need to put the schrader valve up high in the engine bay somehow

Yes I made the block. The vacuum switch is useful. I actually had it trigger once with the old filter.

Schrader valve? Was that thing for purging air? That went with the old filter. I have a solenoid, cab operated, bleed valve at the input to the injector pump.

I also have a 2001 PSD. I threw away that filter also, and redesigned the fuel supply system to a no-deadhead, return regulated system.

Alright time to update this.. So the new engine is in! Started right up last night and idles very nice. This fuel setup is working great! Didn't take long to bleed out.

One issue I'm having though(will post it in a different thread)- When i get the RPM up to about 1500 idle the engine acts like its misfiring and emits blueish/white smoke. then if i give it a quick rev its black. so now i need to figure that out. Thanks all for your help!

Just today i advanced the pump a dimes width and it runs perfect. I will actually time it the right way once i get my light and pulse adapter this week. Thanks everyone
