Hey all.. I'm newer to the diesel world..I have a 91 and a 93 factory turbo. Both f250.. both 7.3 idi.. the 91 has a aluminum radiator the 93 still has the brass. What is the easiest way to flush them and what antifreeze is recommended? I know there is different things to look out for in the brass and aluminum but just not sure what that is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The engine has drain plugs on each side, if you pull them out 99% of the coolant will come out. It's a little messy though.

The one with the brass radiator can run the old school low silicate coolant with SCA's. But there is still a chance someone has replaced the heater core and a lot of them are aluminum. Here is a low silicate coolant with the sca's already mixed in.

I have a aluminum radiator and I use the Zerex GO5 coolant.

So is it bad to run the zerex in both and is the peak good for both brass and aluminum? If the heater core is aluminum the fleet is still ok or? Just making sure I understand. Thanks for all the advice..
