Drive for a distance to see if I can spot it leak or make it active while I'm watching it but couldn't see it, the valley pan got so full that it spilled over the front so there is no telling where it Isleaking right now, it was mostly dry when I left but now so full when I came to a stop it flowed over the front on the sides it looks like cause it hit the belts again and is everywhere again. Gear housing I know is sealed now though just did it today

Your valley pan drain must be clogged. It should never fill up with anything enough to run over. It's what holds the pan down and it's right behind the CDR hole.

I made a new plug for mine out of stainless.

3/8 ratchet square fits it. It drains over in the area of the starter. Something else to check when you end up pulling it apart.

Hopefully it's not silicone, I used a small amount on padistal to seal it because I didn't have the gasket, or something fell in there last time turbo was off but not too likely I'm pretty careful about not getting anything inside my engine that shouldn't be there lol but you never know. I'll be able to find out thus weekend hopefully

They get clogged with crud and oily grime. There is no gasket there. There is a copper ring that seals the pan to the block and plug. It's made into the valley pan.

Is it possible possible that since my turbo has excess play in shaft it's lettung more oil through and my valley pan drain from my pedistal is leaking because the excess flow and not having the extra holes in it yet?

This is slightly out of my area of expertise, but I'll give it a shot. I would say no. You only have so much volume of oil coming into your turbo and wear inside your turbo wouldn't increase the volume coming into the turbo. What comes out has to go in first. I guess we'll both see if I'm wrong.

No. Lol
If anything, leaky turbo seals would make it return less oil. It would be going out the exhaust or into the intake.

My bet is the valley pan turbo drain is leaking. Really no other place for oil to fill the valley pan that quickly. Don't feel its a valve cover gasket leaking that much oil.

It's got to be from under turbo valley on grommet area, both valve cover gaskets newish but I can tell they not leaking. Is there a oil pressure sender unit back there ?

no its not in the valley pan area. its behind the flange right near the bellhousing/block interface.

your grommet for your turbo drain is probably shot going into the valley pan. compound not having the extra holes in it and your getting excess oil back up in the valley pan.

That's what I'm hoping for cause I can get annew grommet if needed and that's easier than replacing valley pan

Updated! Typ4 turbo kits On now, old valley grommet was bascally non existent parts may have been blocking drain even. I poked holes clean best I could befor installing new turbo kit and grommet, no leaks so far! This turbo screams compaired to the 088 that was in there also!
