That pic made me laugh out loud....

Today, I put an elbow into my RDT so I could run it down along the DP without kinking it. I had it running out the driver side wheel well, but while at idle the fan would suck the vapors back into the engine compartment...... Also picked up a skid of wall block and caps for a small hardscape job... finally putting this GD Truck to WORK! (it barely noticed...)

glued my hillbilly-ass headliner back up... the PO used a camoflauge burlap material for a headliner! I like it, but it needed some attention. Wedged some adjustable-length windshield scrapers between the roof and the seat to keep it held up while the glue dries. Fun fun!

I replaced the key cylinder in the driver side door on the PSD. I can now unlock the truck with a key from either side. Much more better I says...

Pic no worky.

I've been contemplating one of those shelfs for a long time, just haven't ever sat in a truck with one installed to make sure I can see under it (I'm a tall guy).

Definitely not my first post on this forum, but first post in this thread:

Spent a couple hours hacking my old hood in to pieces. Found a good one at the local JY (after looking for about a year) to replace the old one. The old one had that classic bend in both sides of it where somebody forgot something hanging over the fender and slammed the hood shut - needless to say, the hood didn't line up with either of the fenders at all, and I was staring at it as I was driving, and it annoyed the hell out of me.

Seeing how the center portion of the old hood was still good, I'm in the process of chopping that center portion up to weld on top of the existing hood - a sort of DIY cowl induction setup. I'll start a thread on it once I get it done......but that may be a while.

A 1970's F500 Donated these for my truck mirrors today:

Need a little work, mainly some bending after heating with a torch to fit at the top flat on the truck door. Might need to change the mounting bracket for the mirrors. Time will tell on that. $5.50 each!

Expect a write up later on about the process if wanted. Also got some different sun visors earlier in the week, I'll do a write up on that also. 91 F250 donated those, solves the sagging problem

New batteries . New alternator. Then power steering went out couple days later glow plugs then ignition gear teeth broke in steering column . Got manual glow plugs wired push button. Ignition on push button thinking things are ready to rock n roll then brakes go out . If I had to pay for fuel I wouldn't know what to do. Lol my truck is like being married to a good women . Sometimes she.s bad but you don't give up on er lol. I smile every time I see the stack blowing coal.

Today changed speedo gear in GV from 43 to a 35 tooth, need one right in the middle, 38 im thinking with the 235 tires going on. Drained OD and refilled, changed engine oil, flushed some fluid thru the PS system, have a leak at steering gear input, made up positive cable to link both gp 31 batts,
