OB stickers?

I dont like the rule that you have to be in BG to get a sticker... Don't you think other guys here may want a sticker.. Geez, there only a buck... Im sure a lot would be happy to pay shipping... Whats up with that WO?

I asked WO to make that rule. Reason being is that I have a member here that approached me to make stickers. I couldn't get these sticker to WO in time for the TS thing so WO had his own made. I doubt WO wants to go to the trouble of mailing them etc. So we will have stickers for sale for everyone very shortly. We will mail them to whoever wants them.

I take it there is a pricing issue then? Too bad.....

Well obviously it costs a bit more then $1 to make a sticker, package it, mail it etc.

It obviously does not cost more than a dollar to make the sticker if WO is selling them for 1 dollar... Now an envelope and shipping... .... So how much for YOUR special stickers.....

I wasn't planning on making 1 single penny off of these since that seems to be what you are after.

This member was going to cut them up, handle the sales, package them, ship them etc. Paypal takes a percentage, envelopes cost money, stamps cost money, and not everyone works for free.

I was not going to see one red cent of it. AND I offered several times to buy the stickers for WO so he could give them away.

It just seems odd... Since Wo is not able to sell them... Someones got thier hand in the cookiee jar... Your mods work for free.... But others are expected to make money on growing the site...

WO is free to do whatever he wants. Anyone can have their own stickers made if they want. Makes no difference to me at all. Who said anyone was making money? You don't even know what we were going to charge for these and you have your ******* in a knot. For all you know we are charging $1 for the sticker and the price of a stamp. Who says I am not going to give them away? Nothing is written in stone.

WO, I'm sorry. You can sell you stickers to all the OB members you like.

To the member who wanted to print stickers for me, I will buy the 100 stickers you already have cut and sell them for cost to make Brian happy.

Ok here is what we have come up with.

It just doesn't really make sense for me or anyone else to sell these stickers for $1. It's not about the money its just that $1 is such a small amount it makes it really difficult to work with.

Here's what I mean, you aren't likely going to charge $1 to your credit card or paypal account, you aren't going to mail a cheque for $1, the stamp costs almost as much as the sticker. It's just a hard figure to work with.

So after WO's stickers are all sold for $1 (he can handle it any way he wants), I will give a sticker (for free) to anyone who wants one. The catch is you have to mail my sticker maker a self addressed stamped envelope. He will then mail you the sticker for free.

There will be 100 stickers plus wideopens 50 so that is 150 stickers to go around. If there is any demand for more we will deal with it at that time.

As soon as wideopen is done with his stickers I will put up details on where to send the sell addressed stamped envelope.

I hope this will work well for everyone involved.

Well, he is selling the for cost. He simply wanted to help promote the site. I appreciate him making the effort and taking it upon himself. He consulted me about it before he did it. I see nothing wrong with it.

In the end we are all trying to accomplish the same thing.
