I am new to this forum. I have a 1986 F250 6.9l with a Bank turbo, reg cab 2wd auto. I've had the truck since 2010, and I'm always reading the forums, so figured it's about time that I actually join.

I really like the old Ford diesels and the fact that they are inexpensive to maintain and and relatively easy to work on.

Welcome to the site. You will find a ton of information concerning the IDI's here in the tech forums. Don't be afraid to ask questions as the only dumb question is the UN-asked question. There are tons of people who have waded through these IDI's from stem to stern many many times that are willing to share their experiences and knowledge. So kick off yer shoes and stay a while. Also keep an eye out for get-togethers in your area as they have them from time to time where you can put faces with the names you see on here. Most of them don't bite and the ones that do don't bite hard - lol....
