i need a bed for my duallie.i found a couple but didnt have the money to spend on them so they got crushed.

i have a chance to get an almost perfect SRW bed.does anybody make patch panels for the duallie beds?or how do i convert a srw bed to a duallie?and no i am not using the aftermartket fenders on the srw bed.i want it done right using my factory duallie fenders.

or does somebody have a drw bed they wanna trade for a srw and feel like makeing a road trip?beds can be swapped here and have you back on the road that day.

My brother has a dam near perfect southern dually bed. It was PERFECT till in that last snow we had a branch came down a put a 2" hole in the top of the drivers side fender. (FIXABLE)

It has no rust and no dents.

he is looking for 800, and no, he doesnt need a SRW bed

I thought $800 crazy overpriced too. I can ge them pistine for $250, If its gonna need work, then the price drops quickly.

Good luck finding a RUST FREE dually bed for any price in the NE

The fenders are typically 200 a piece used

My cousin often makes trips between NE and florida to haul camping trailers for snow birds. If these beds bring $800 up there i will start stacking them onhis truck and send them up to get rich.

I still thnk $800 is highway robbery , but if you can get it. i say go for it.

Good luck finding a factory take-off bed that was stopped being produced 14 years ago.

You can make alot of money. I just bought a rust free bed that came from AL this past summer for 800. It still needs about 5 hours of body work. The guy I deal with is in MD and he travels all over the south buying up truck parts and selling them up here

Rust free means alot to me and alot of others up here. Your 17 year old parts are typically in better shape than 3 year old parts up here. Salt is a *****

Brad if you paid $800 for a bed from Alabama, You got taken brother. They are all over CL down here and in the local paper for $200-$400 , Rust free. many of the local salvage yards have these 14year old beds stacked in a warehose ready to be purchased.

And how much do you think it would of costed me to get the bed shipped up here 1200miles to PA? $100

So $800 was with shipping? If that the case, then it wasnt an $800 bed. Need to clarify that.

As for shipping, I know a forum that has a section for getting stuff moved if someone is hauling one way empty. i actually got a crew cab full sized truck moved from oregon to So cal for $400 becasue the driver was going that way empty. If you need soemthing mvoed cheap , odds are they is someone going that way anyhow.

Doesnt always work, but i have had alot of success with it. i am actually making $350 in december to pull my trailer to okalhoma for the holiday adn bring back a car. I am going that way anyhow. Hope i can find a load heading up there. my whole trip would be free.
