Ok, this thing has only 10k miles and we are getting hit by storms here and had to use 4X4. When shifting out of 4wd to 2wd sometimes it is hard to get to slip out. Not like a drivetrain bind, but like the lever is not going far enough. It is a very short throw from 4-2, and it is hitting some kind of stop, but I have to try several times to get it in 2wd. I have had several of these trucks over the years and never ran into this.
My concern is that it is not going fully into 2wd and something will be wearing quickly. Its too snowy to crawl under it right now but what I am wondering is there some kind of adjustment on the linkage? I do not feel that I should have to jamb it against the stop to get it to shift.
If you know, you know, and I don't!
Thanks, Larry
