Alright so I went c6 to t-19 a couple months back and 6k miles ago when Thursday for the life of me I couldn’t get the clutch to disengage

Since the slave and master where new when I did a clutch (luk) 2k miles ago I figured good place to start so I warranted them both back to square one still nothing

There is virtually 0 firewall flex the pedal feel great which is the weird part
The clutch line looks good from the outside I did order a stainless line from Russ that will be here shortly

I did weld the the clutch fork so I pulled it to find nothing as far as that’s concerned

I videod the slave while pressing the clutch and it’s just about 3/4” travel on it

And then I noticed the tongues on the pressure plate where like that of one that’s not torqued/ out of the vehicle which raised my suspicions

With it being a 2wd t19 there so easy to pull so I yanked it out to further investigate and that’s where I am at now

I can never seem to catch a break when it comes to transmissions with this truck atleast it’s better than a blown c6

Last pic is what it looked like out of the box not a new picture

What do y’all think?

Is the bellhousing cracked around the clutch pivot somehow that maybe it's not obvious and the bellhousing is moving and you don't see it..... maybe?

Not likely this is your issue since you already swapped the master, but do you have the adjustable push rod? If so did it come loose?

Look up inside of the pressure plate for a break in the spring around its outer edges, usually happens at a rivet hole. If it is broken the plate will disengage crooked not allowing it to completely release.

Have you checked for play in the pedal linkages/bushings? Since your pedal feels good, it seems like your master/slave are working and the throwout bearing is being pushed against the pressure plate. It seems like you’re just not getting full travel, which makes me suspect linkages or bushings.

I would inspect the diaphragm in the pressure plate closely. I had one break years ago on an 80's Malibu. I must have pulled and installed that transmission a dozen times before I finally found the problem.

I hate the video system here, anyways there’s is play in the pedal assembly but it’s always been like that

As I am not sure what your repair was I'm just grasping at straws here. Is it possible the clutch fork could be bent, not allowing full disengagement. Or possibly flexing.

What about the little plastic keeper “bushing” where your clutch master pushrod attaches? What kind of shape is it in? Or have you done the heim joint mod?

If you have slop in your pedal bushings, you could do the heim joint mod and intentionally make your pushrod a little longer than stock in order to get that extra travel back that you’re losing with worn bushings.

Also check to see if the set screw on your heim joint came loose and let it slide down on the shaft, effectively shortening your pushrod.
