ive ran these things in the stock location, but cant really do that on my new build.
i didnt want to drill into my valve covers, so i decided to get a IP gear cover oil fill, and slap a CDR on the top.
2 8 AN bungs that will eventually go to my air intake tubes.

This was version one which I threw in the trash. I did some scribbling and wasn’t happy with the size of my initial lines to potential pressure.

I am looking at coming up with a catch can here real soon. what size lines did you go with? I like the custom valve covers with a hose coming off each one, mine will just be from the one stock location.

Dont have any pictures of mine, but just 1 inch hose from timing cover to pipe between air filter and turbo, no CDR valve.

Have been wanting to build a set up that switches to RDT while driving. Had a valve sourced that would work dependably, just never got around to it, and now cant find that valve.

So food 4 thought...
Think about how/why we use windage trays and crank scrapers..

Common tech is vacc. Ports at both valve covers.
Now why are dry sump systems used?!

So why not 2 larger lines @valve covers, 1 smaller line ( think negative pressure @topend) in oil pan.

Dyno pulls prove negative pressure inside will increase values....
Carry on

I used a Goldenrod filter as a catch can. I used the stainless mesh in place of a paper filter and added a stainless pot scrubber around the mesh. I'' hose from oil fill adapter and CDR into intake. My ring seal got progressively worse and blow by was filling the catch can, so in a sense it was working. The project is torn down now and on pause due to lack of parts and record cold and snow.

I just have a road draft tube going out the crankcase vent hole down behind the passenger side front wheel. And a plug in the back of the intake. My truck has quite a bit of blowby, many a time I hop out of my truck somebody says they think it might be on fire… or leaking something. Always getting concerned comments about it…
