Ok so about a month ago I purchased a 1989 f350 4x4 T19 Bw 1354 7.3 NA.
This thing was a brush truck in Fort Worth Texas area and has 18,000 miles on the clock. I’m needing to get this thing under power asap temporarily, this ol girl has had a rough life after fire service as a yard truck at a local buisness I’ll post some pics tomorrow.

Yes I need to get it running just enough so I can move it hasn’t ran in about 6 months. My thoughts were to put fresh batteries in it run a hose to a jerry can in the passenger seat. I know this is a bad idea but I just need to be able to move it around my property. It’s going to go under the knife late summer. Is there anything I’m missing?

We can't say without more info.
I think I'd try to see what it'll do in it's present condition before I spent the $ on new batteries.

That's plenty enough battery. If you're just trying to move it around, make sure its got oil and coolant, attach the batteries, and hit the key. Let us know what happens after that.

Assuming glowplug system is gonna be shot , disconnect glowplug controller, give her the ether, run a line from lift pump inlet to can and let her rip. Let us know what troubleshooting you run into and need help with.

I’d recommend running a fuel water separator when I bypassed mine I swapped to a 7.3 filter head (it has the fuel water separator built into the filter)

Where does a feller pick one of those up at?
For a factory 7.3 filter filter head I would check the salvage yards or ebay.
There are aftermarket options also. I have seen some posts with part numbers, I will try to find the thread and link it.
