Seems awful sloppy. Do you have the old disc to compare fitment?

I was confused when you mentioned the t19. This is just a guess however I wonder if the poor fitment of the disc is creating the chatter marks on your flywheel and pressure plate + amplifying the roll over noise. If there's a part number stamped on the disc, it might be worthwhile using that to cross reference and verify they gave you the correct one.

How are your clutch pedal bushings under the dash? I wonder if there’s a lot of slop there keeping you from fully releasing the clutch when you press the pedal.

All good under there clutch feel amazing nice and light engages right in the middle and isn’t hard to shift like it’s properly disengagement

is this an issue or is this normal
It’s precision clutch from rock auto a part of the “solid flywheel conversion kit”
Holy wiggly clutch, Batman! I've only done a couple but they had almost zero play. Like 1/10th of what you have or less!

But if you watch the center closely it's rotating around the clutch center hub, not rocking on the splines. So that connection there is hosed and I'd bet that's the issue given how the rest seems tight and good to go. That's so wild how trashed that is. I'm no clutch/transmission specialist but for something moving so fast it needs to be precisely placed and not free to walk around...maybe the sound is just that the clutch failed at that spot, and doesn't got away totally because it's out of balance with the clutch engaged? Hard to say without feeling/hearing myself.

Was there also a vibration that worsened with engine speed?

Was wayyyy to focused on the noise to think about vibrations
It’s nice to know the cause of this I was very lost thank you
Is this just a bad part or is this something i could’ve done wrong on install? I did it the same way as I’ve done my last 5 clutches but you never know

I replaced the Clutch/Brake Peddle Bushings early last Spring. I had read about them wearing out and the steel shaft they Hang on wearing into the aluminum frame they all connect to.
I call it the Peddle Box assy. Don`t know the official Ford name for it.

Removed one at PNP off a 85 6.9, bought the Bushings at the Ford Dealer. Really not all that expensive.

Figured I would clean it up, paint the levers etc... replace the Bushings, and while the shaft they all pivot on, and it was out, do the Heim Joint fix.

Then when I did the R&R swap, it would be done in a few hours. Next one I replace will be quicker.

There is also on the early trucks a problem with the Fire Wall flexing when the Clutch is pushed in, and eventually cracks develope.
There is a Plate to beef up that area.
Only place to get one is Bronco Grave Yard.

The slop in that Clutch Disk is not normal, something in the enter broke. Needs replacing, X2 the FW need to be turned.

I have never shifted a ZF-5 spd, or been around one that had the solid FW replacement to hear the roll over noise.
I just grind away on a T-19.

Didn’t you put that video on Facebook? I thought Russ responded about the clutch having a floating center and that’s why it behaves like that. I don’t like that though. Even my no name summit performance kit doesn’t have that.

My old eyes it appears the entire disc is moving. T-19 has 10 spline 1 1/16" input, ZF-5 has 10 spline 1 1/4" input, and ZF-6 has 10 spline 1 3/8" input. Is it possible they sent you a disc for ZF-6? Thinking through how I install a new clutch, I'm definitely guilty of not check fitting the disc onto the splines of the trans before sandwiching between flywheel and pressure plate therefore (at least for myself) an incorrect disc could easily get overlooked. Just an idea, hope you figure it out!
